The My Identity App (MIA) developed by the Austrian State Printing House has received yet further international recognition: MIA has been nominated for the IDnext Association Identity Innovation Award.

This global award rewards innovation in technology and business models, success in privacy protection, added value for users and stakeholders and the potential impact of the project or product. The IDnext Association seeks to offer an open and independent platform for digital identity solutions and to raise awareness of the importance of digital identity.

The non-profit organisation is also committed to disseminating knowledge and experience through workshops and other events. Asan Imza, Authada and the OpenID connect certification program have also been nominated for the Identity Innovation Award alongside the Austrian State Printing House.

The winner of the award will be announced at the organisation’s annual event on 28 March in Utrecht.
